How to Deactivate Your Account
If you want to leave your helloaini.com membership and deactivate your account, you can do so by following these steps:
From Your Smartphone:
- Log in to aini
- Click on the icon for your account information (located in the upper right corner)
- Select "Settings"
- Select "Deactivate My Account"
From Your PC:
- Log in to aini
- Click on the icon for your account information (located in the upper right corner)
- Select "Dashboard"
- Select "Account Settings" located in the menu bar on the left
- Select "Deactivate My Account"
The deactivation process should be done through a browser, not via the aini app.
Once your account is deactivated, you can't revert the process nor recover any data. You'll need to set up a new account if you want to use our service again.
Once you complete the deactivating process, communication from us via emails will automatically stop. However, in some cases, email communications may last for an additional 2-3 days after the deactivation.
If You Still Have Events that Take Place in the Future
You can't deactivate your account if you have events scheduled in the future. In this case, you may:
- Cancel the future events, or
- Wait to deactivate your account until all the scheduled events took place and get paid for the event(s) at the end of the following month.
Before Deactivating Your Host Account
Before leaving helloaini.com, please ensure that all your balances and records are in check for tax and accounting purposes.
Here are some questions you may ask yourself before deactivating your account:
- Is there an unpaid balance?
- Is there a refund you owe as a host? Or a refund you have not received as a guest?
- Do you have all the information you need for filing your taxes?
