For Hosts: How to Temporarily Close Bookings for the Listing You Want to Snooze

When you want to temporarily deactivate a listing, there are two ways to close new bookings. One is a "Stop Accepting Bookings" setting and another is a "Temporarily Remove the Listing" setting. 

In order to change the listing status to "Temporarily Remove the Listing", you first have to turn on the "Stop Accepting Bookings" setting. 

If event dates are already registered for the experience you want to snooze, you can only turn on the "Stop Accepting Bookings" setting after the event dates. Otherwise, you have to fist cancel all event dates, then turn on the "Stop Accepting Bookings" setting. 

1. Stop Accepting Bookings

Under the "Stop Accepting Bookings" setting, the listing page is still visible to the public, but the booking button will be inactive. Users no longer can make new bookings.

Also, a message "We are not accepting requests to hold this event at this time." will appear. Users cannot place requests but can send messages to the host. 

Steps to Stop Accepting Bookings

1. Open your browser and log in to helloaini.com
2. Click on the icon for your account information (located in the upper right corner)
3. If you are accessing from your PC, select "Dashboard". If you are accessing from an app, you can skip this step.
4. Select "Host Menu"
5. Select "Manage Experiences"
6. Select the experience you want to edit, then click on "Change Status▼" 
7. Click "Stop Accepting Bookings"

If you already have bookings, please cancel the relevant event dates before changing the settings.

You may have turned on "Accept Requests" under the Advanced Settings, but if change the settings to "Stop Accepting Bookings", users can no longer place requests regardless (it will automatically be accepting requests when you undo the "Stop Accepting Bookings" setting). 

Steps to Resume Accepting Bookings

1. From "Host Menu", select "Manage Experiences"
2. Click the "Stop Accepting Bookings" tab
3. Select the experience you want to edit, then click on "Change Status▼" 
4. Click "Resume Accepting Bookings"

If you want to edit the content, you can do so by clicking the "Edit" button after "Resume Accepting Bookings".

2. Temporarily Remove the Listing

If the user tries to access the page when "Temporarily Remove the Listing" setting is on, the message "The page you are looking for cannot be found" will be displayed. The user will not be able to see any of the contents of the page.

To temporarily remove the listing, first stop accepting bookings, and then follow the steps below.

Steps to Temporarily Remove the Listing

1. Open your browser and log in to helloaini.com
2. Click on the icon for your account information (located in the upper right corner)
3. If you are accessing from your PC, select "Dashboard". If you are accessing from an app, you can skip this step.
4. Select "Host Menu"
5. Select "Manage Experiences"
6. Click the "Stop Accepting Bookings" tab
7. Select the experience you want to edit, then click on "Change Status▼" 
8. Select "Temporarily Remove the Listing"

Steps to Resume the Listing

1. From "Host Menu", select "Manage Experiences"
2. Click the "Stop Accepting Bookings" tab
3. Select the experience you want to edit, then click on "Change Status▼" 
4. Select "Resume the Listing"

To Edit Before Resuming the Listing

1. From "Host Menu", select "Manage Experiences"
2. Click the "Stop Accepting Bookings" tab
3. Select the experience you want to edit, then select "Edit" 
4. When done editing, select "Publish"
