Hosts are required to comply with the Travel Agency Act (旅行業法 Ryokogyo Hou). Aini is not registered as a travel agency, therefore hosts can't receive any compensation for providing transportation using privately owned vehicles.
However, hosts can provide transportation using privately owned vehicles in some circumstances.
Conditions to Provide Transportations Using Hosts' Own Vehicles
Hosts can provide transportation to guests if they can meet all conditions below:
1. Transportation is provided free of charge
Please note:
You can't include wording such as "fuel fee" or "transportation fee" in the price description on your experience listing page.
You also have to state clearly on your listing page that the transportation to and from your experience is provided for free.
2. Price for the experience is the same for all guests, with or without the transportation service
Please note:
You can't charge additional fees to guests who request transportation services.
3. Transportation is a part of the experience
Please note:
If there is no public transportation available from/to the nearest bus stop or train station, etc., to/from the site of the experience, free transportation via the shortest route by a host is considered as a part of the event planning.
In this case, please state clearly that accessing the experience is difficult without the host driving the guests to and from the event site (e.g.: From XXX Station to the event site, it takes 1 hour on foot and the bus runs only twice a day on the weekend.)
Transportation Service with Multiple Stops
Providing transportation with multiple stops may be considered a "tour" rather than taking guests from one place to another, which will be in conflict with the Road Transportation Law (道路運送法 Douro Unso Hou). Therefore, mentioning transportation services with multiple stops on your listing pages is prohibited in our community.
