Safety is our priority. If a typhoon or bad weather is expected, please make a decision on whether the event will be held or not by the day before the event or 6:00 am on the day of the event at the latest. Please consider the guests who travel a long distance, and make the decision in a timely manner.
You can also specify an inclement weather policy by following the steps below:
- Select "Manage Experience"
- Select the experience you want to edit
- Click "Edit"
- Click on the "Advanced setting"
- Select "Inclement Weather Policy"
- Select one option from "Canceled in rain", "Carry out in rain" or "Carry out in light rain".
If You Decide to Cancel the Event
You may cancel an event due to the inclement weather when:
- It rains the day before the event and the wet condition makes it not possible to carry out the event.
- It is certain to rain on the day of the event due to an approaching typhoon, etc.
- A sudden change in the weather happens right before the start time and makes the event unfeasible
If you decide to cancel the event, first notify the guests via group messaging or direct messaging and explain the reason for cancellation.
After notifying the guests, then please follow the steps below to complete the cancellation procedure.
From Your Smartphone:
- Open your browser and log in to helloaini.com
- Click on the icon for your account information (located in the upper right corner)
- Select "Host Menu"
- Select "Event Calendar"
- Select the date of the event you want to edit
- Select "Cancel an Event"
From Your PC:
- Open your browser and log in to helloaini.com
- Click on the icon for your account information (located in the upper right corner)
- Select "Dashboard"
- Select "Host Menu"
- Select "Event Calendar"
- Select the date of the event you want to edit
- Select "Cancel an Event"
Once the event is canceled, a cancellation notice will be automatically sent to the guests, and the fee will be refunded.
Canceling an event means that the host will lose all reservations associated with the event. The process is not reversible. Even if the weather recovered after the cancellation, you can’t reverse the cancellation process.
After canceling an event, the phone numbers of the registered guests will be invisible to the host.
If canceling the event does not seem to be the best choice for you, you can also consider assigning a new event date for the event. Please see the article below for more details:
