Many guests get very disappointed when their participation requests are denied.
There may be various reasons for declining guests such as:
- Vegetables are undergrow and cannot be harvested due to inclement weather.
- Cannot hold the experience due to seasonal problems.
- The guest profile is not filled out, and you as a host cannot accept the guest comfortably.
- You are a female host and the experience will be held at your home. You want to make it a women-only event.
When declining guests, clearly tell guests why you cannot hold the event or you have to decline their participation so that they can understand that the decisions are fair and reasonable.
If you have not set up automatic approval of booking requests, or if you use the Cancel Bookings function, you may decline a guest systematically without directly interacting with the guest.
However, The process of declining a guest can be done systematically if you are not.
It is highly recommended that you communicate closely with the guest via messaging before declining the reservation.
