For Hosts: What Are Notebooks?

Notebooks are the blog function for hosts to write about the experiences they are hosting, and it is a great way to connect with guests. 

You can use notebooks to share event reports or photos, make announcements, embed YouTube videos, or simply as a diary to engage with guests. Guests can like your entries or leave comments.

How to Post New Entries on Notebooks

You can post a new entry in a notebook by following these steps:

From Your Smartphone:

1. Open your browser and log in to helloaini.com
2. Click on the icon for your account information (located in the upper right corner)
3. Select "For Guests/Hosts"
4. Select  "Notebook"
5. select "New Entry"

From Your PC:

1. Open your browser and log in to helloaini.com
2. Click on the icon for your account information (located in the upper right corner)
3. Select "Dashboard"
4. Select "For Guests/Hosts"
5. Select  "Notebook"
6. select "New Entry"

File Specifications

• For images, you can use JPG, PNG, or GIF formats. 
• The maximum size is 15 MB per file and 100 MB total per entry

How to View the Published Posts

After publishing the post, you can check how it is displayed by following the steps below:

From your profile page:

• "Setting" > "Profile Setting" > "Profile Page" > the "Notebook" tab

From the menu, "For Guests/Hosts":

• "For Guests/Hosts" > "Notebook" > Click on the title of a post you want to view

Deleting and Hiding the Published Posts

After publishing the post, you can delete it or hide it by following the steps below:

Deleting the Post

Once you delete a post, you can not retrieve or revert all data including the text, photos, etc.

From Your Smartphone:

1. Open your browser and log in to helloaini.com
2. Click on the icon for your account information (located in the upper right corner)
3. Select "Host Menu"
4. Select "Host Menu"
5. Select "For Guests/Hosts"
6. Select "Notebook"
7. Click on "･･･" and then select "Delete This Post"

From Your PC:

1. Open your browser and log in to helloaini.com
2. Click on the icon for your account information (located in the upper right corner)
3. Select "Dashboard"
4. Select "Host Menu"
5. Select "For Guests/Hosts"
6. Select "Notebook"
7. Click on "･･･" and then select "Delete This Post"

Hiding the Post

The hidden post will be saved as a draft, and it can't be viewed by viewers until you publish the post again. 

From Your Smartphone:

1. Open your browser and log in to helloaini.com
2. Click on the icon for your account information (located in the upper right corner)
3. Select "Host Menu"
4. Select "Host Menu"
5. Select "For Guests/Hosts"
6. Select "Notebook"
7. Click on "Edit" next to the post you want to hide
8. Select "Revert to a Draft"

From Your PC:

1. Open your browser and log in to helloaini.com
2. Click on the icon for your account information (located in the upper right corner)
3. Select "Dashboard"
4. Select "Host Menu"
5. Select "For Guests/Hosts"
6. Select "Notebook"
7. Click on "Edit" next to the post you want to hide
8. Select "Revert to a Draft"

What Symbols Mean

Once you publish a post, three symbols will be displayed. These symbols tell you about viewership and readers' responses to the post. 

Meanings of the Symbols

• Thumbs up (on the left)  ➔ Number of Likes
• Speech bubble (in the middle) ➔ Number of comments
• Eye (on the right) ➔ Number of views
