Upon cancellation, whether an event fee will be refunded to a guest or not depends on when the cancellation is made and/or who canceled the reservation.
Cancellation by a Guest
If a cancellation is made after the last day for guests to cancel an event, the guest will be charged 100% of the event fee as a cancellation fee, and there will not be a refund. In this case, the host will receive full sales from the canceled reservation.
The cancellation fee is always 100% and can't be offered in a custom percentage such as 30%, 50%, etc.
If the cancellation is made before the last day to cancel an event, the guest will receive a full refund.
Cancellation by a Host
If a host cancels a reservation, the event fee will be fully refunded to guests regardless of when the cancellation is made.
Emergency Cancellations
In case of a cancellation due to an unavoidable cause such as a natural disaster or a family emergency, the guest may receive a full refund upon a thorough review by the administration and agreement from the host.
