Sightseeing and Walking Tours
The “Sightseeing and Walking Tours” category is perfect for experiences that introduce the charm of places, architecture, local people, etc.
Walking tours often involve visiting shops and historic or cultural sites. Some hosts allow guests to browse at stores as they walk or enjoy the outdoor scenery along the path. The majority of the time is spent on foot.
Experiences under this category could be done online. You may stream a live event or host a slideshow-style program about a popular tourism destination.
Live streaming from overseas is especially popular as it gives a feel of virtual international travel.

Agriculture and Farming
This is a category for experiences to have fun in the natural environment through agricultural and farming activities and to learn about specialty crops and livestock.
The agricultural and farming experiences usually take place in natural environments such as farmhouses, rice paddies, mountains, or the seaside.
The activities may involve caring for farm animals, planting or harvesting crops, playing outdoors, and experiencing life in a natural setting.
The time required for those experiences is relatively long, and, in many cases, guests are allowed to "play" spontaneously and do their own things. There are quite a few returning guests for each season.
Culinary and Craft Workshop
This is the right category if the experience is about making something together over a chat or allowing the guests to zone out into craft-making.
Workshops could be about cooking, arts and crafts, or hands-on learning from an artisan, and in most cases, held indoors.
Workshops could be held at the shops owned by hosts, at hosts' homes, in rented venues, or even online.
Food and Drink
If the experience is about enjoying tasty food and conversations with newly met people, "Food and Drinks" is the category.
In an experience under this category, you and your guests may do anything to do with food and drinks such as visiting your favorite bars, bakeries, cafes, and restaurants or exploring new eateries together.
Most of the events under this category are done in a walking tour style and at food venues, so they could be held easily with little preparation.
The location of the event can be varied, for example, a small local eatery or near a popular tourist spot.
Fortune Telling and Healing
Choose this category if the experience is about encouraging someone who is feeling stuck, needs some positive advice, or looks for a sense of healing.
Experiences offered under this category, for example, can be palm reading, tarot reading, horoscope, hale art, onomancy, access bars, spiritual counseling, or even visiting the Shinto shrine. Many hosts who offer these experiences are professional fortunetellers.
Many of these experiences are held at home or other indoor venues, so it is relatively easy to host them offline too.
Outdoor Leisure
This category is for experiences in nature, such as fishing, kayaking, skiing, snowboarding, horse riding, cycling, etc. Many of these outdoor experiences are available for families, but some are adult-only.
Many of the hosts who offer such experiences are often professional service providers who can supervise activities in nature and own tools and gears to rent out.
